Happy New Year!
The Winter Solstice has come and gone, and the ever-increasing daylight signals the beginning of our 25th growing season here at Vigna Giovanni. In a week or two we will be hard at work pruning our vines and working our soils. While the mid-winter break has been refreshing, we are invigorated and excited to get back out into the vineyard.
We’ve spent the winter continuing the design phase of our small onsite winery, and we plan to submit our site design to the county for approval by the end of the month. We’re still on track to break ground this coming spring and have the building completed by fall. Here’s a sneak peek at our design:
