My oh my, time does fly by! Here are some updates. First, vineyard news… We finally saw bud break right on time on April 22nd this year. Except for a few scares with hail storms that have been moving through the area, we’ve been very happy with the gifts Mother Nature is showering upon us so far this season. Second, wine news… We have bottled our 2008 Pinot Gris and our dry Riesling, both are very lovely. We’ll be bottling our 2008 dessert Riesling later this week or early next, and of course our 2008 Pinot Noir is still in barrel to be bottled later this Fall for release some time in 2010. We are incredibly pleased with the 2008 vintage and can’t wait to share it with you! Next, tasting room news… We are so excited to announce that we have secured our very own space, a small cottage in the newly formed Carlton Wine Cottages village in downtown Carlton. We’ve been hard at work over the past month renovating a historic 1910-era cottage, from the studs up. We’re looking forward to welcoming guests on the weekend before Memorial Day, and will then be open from 1-6pm Wednesday-Sunday weekly through the summer and fall. Please come and see us!

For those who have followed our home page and have kindly asked, YES, we finally have all of our goat babies for the year, nine babies born to six mamas, all healthy and happy.
