A lot has been happening in the past almost ten weeks since we first launched this site. The vines have reached beyond the top of their trellises and hedging has got them looking neat and trimmed.
Progress on the winery seems slow to us but that is mostly because this time of year is very much in fast forward, not only for us in the vineyard, but also for those in the building professions. Since Josh has graciously agreed to handle this year’s vintage at the Bergström facility again, we don’t need to be done until fall of 2008, and that shouldn’t be a problem.
OK then, a few folks have nagged us and been able to procure some of the 2005 Pinot Noir, even though we have warned them that they should allow more time. Our first public offering, as it were, will be at Carlton’s Walk in the Park August, 4th and 5th. If you are from around here plan to come on out, it’s a wonderful benefit event for local charities full of music, wine, art and food. Check out the link.
