What we offer...
2005 Vigna Giovanni Yamhill-Carlton District Pinot NoirOur inaugural release, and one we can be proud of. Deep violet and heather on the nose, with black cherry, black and red currant, cola, sweet leather, and white pepper spice on the palate. Aged in 100% neutral French oak, this is one broad-shouldered, structured wine which will age well with careful cellaring. Best from 2010-2015. We recommend decanting if you choose to enjoy it immediately. 2006 Vigna Giovanni Yamhill-Carlton District Pinot Noir
Bottled in September 2007, after resting comfortably at the winery in 1-3 year old French oak barrels, our 2006 Pinot Noir is shaping up to be a pure delight. Early tasting reveals characteristic spicy and earthy aromas and flavors of dark fruit, leather, cedar, and tobacco. This vintage is a bit more fruit forward than 2005 and is showing softer tannins. Best now-2012. 2007 Pinot Gris
Aromas of vanilla bean, Bosq pear, Queen Ann cherries and strong minerality. Big sweet attack with vibrant balancing acidity. Medium to Full-bodied throughout, but with great roundness, almost spherical on the mid-palate, showing great expansiveness and mouth-filling presence. The flavor profile mirrors the nose, with the pear notes heavily accented by spiciness and the cherry taking on a strongly fleshy character. The acidity keeps the wine moving nicely through the mid-palate and finish, which is very long and delineated; terrific retro-nasal persistence. Vino Bianca della Casa Perasso
Our white table wine, the Bianca is a proprietary blend of Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Gewürtztraminer, and Muscat. Opens with delicious nuances of apples and honeydew, then broadens on the palate into delicate hints of ripe d’anjou pear, white currant, and notes of tarragon and sweet basil. Lightly sweet but well balanced by perky acidity. A great summer sipper, and brilliant accompaniment for your every day dinner table. Vino Roso della Casa Perasso
Our red table wine, the Roso is a proprietary blend of Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Tempranillo. A lovely peppery spice on the nose broadens into a full-bodied earthy fruit on the mid-palaate with flvors of black pepper, raspberry, pomegranate, blood orange and salmonberry, before its lengthy smooth finish. A subpurb food wine for every day, at an equally attractive price point.
